The 2015 Minnesota Twins enjoyed a revitalizing season under new manager Paul Molitor, finishing with an 83-79 record and securing second place in the AL Central. This marked a significant turnaround for the franchise, achieving their first winning record since 2010 and remaining in postseason contention until the final weekend of the year. The campaign was highlighted by the exciting debuts of several top prospects, including Miguel Sano and Eddie Rosario, as well as All-Star performances from Brian Dozier and Glen Perkins. The first overall pick in the 2001 MLB Draft and a 2024 Hall of Fame inductee, Joe Mauer was a legendary catcher and first baseman for the Minnesota Twins who became the only catcher in league history to win three batting titles and earned the 2009 AL MVP award.
