The 2016-17 season was a historic year for Aaron Ramsey, defined by his status as Arsenal’s ultimate big-game hero after scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup final against Chelsea. His tireless energy and attacking intuition were the heartbeat of the Gunners’ success at Wembley, where he famously netted a late header to secure the club’s third trophy in four years and set a record for the most distance covered in a final. Despite a campaign challenged by injury, Ramsey’s talismanic influence and clinical finishing in crucial moments ensured he remained a beloved figure at the Emirates, providing fans with nostalgic glimpses of his world-class quality.
