Notes

The 2016-17 campaign delivered a tense season of recovery for Cesena as Cavallucci Marini battled to a safe 13th-place finish in Serie B. The year was marked by turbulence, including a necessary managerial change from Massimo Drago to Andrea Camplone mid-season to pull the club from a relegation battle. Leading the charge was the clinical forward Camillo Ciano, whose 14 crucial goals were instrumental in securing the team's second-tier status. This campaign, which also saw a memorable run to the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, remains a chapter defined by resilience and Ciano's enduring attacking threat.
