Notes

The 2016-17 campaign delivered ultimate heartbreak for Leyton Orient as The O's finished a crushing 24th in League Two, resulting in relegation to the National League and ending their historic 100-year stay in the English Football League. The season was defined by extreme managerial turmoil, with a succession of six different head coaches, and was anchored by the eight crucial league goals scored by joint top-scorers Paul McCallum and Gavin Massey. Despite the chaos, the side offered moments of defiant hope, such as a memorable 3-2 home victory against Crawley Town, but the deep-seated struggles ultimately led to an unforgettable and painful chapter for the historic club.
