Notes

The 2016-17 campaign delivered a season of European heroics and firepower for Lyon as Les Gones finished 4th in Ligue 1, securing a spot in the Europa League. Leading the charge was the sensational Alexandre Lacazette, whose phenomenal 28 league goals proved decisive, making him the first player since Jean-Pierre Papin to score 20+ goals in three consecutive Ligue 1 seasons. The season was truly defined by their thrilling run to the UEFA Europa League Semi-finals, a memorable journey that cemented Lacazette's status as a club legend before his summer transfer.
