Notes

The 2016-17 campaign delivered ultimate heartbreak for Swindon Town as The Robins suffered a crushing relegation back to League Two, finishing 22nd in League One after five seasons in the third tier. The struggle was defined by a lack of goals, with forward Jonathan Obika and Luke Norris jointly topping the league scoring chart with just 6 goals each. It was a dark, turbulent year under manager Luke Williams that remains a painful but defining chapter of the club's modern history.
