The 2017-18 campaign delivered a season of spectacular attacking football for Brentford, as The Bees secured a strong 9th-place finish in the Championship after recovering from a difficult start. Leading the charge was the prolific new signing Neal Maupay, whose 12 league goals helped establish the club as an ascending, vibrant force in the second tier under Dean Smith.
