The 2017-18 campaign for Cheltenham Town saw The Robins secure a 17th-place finish in League Two, a season ultimately defined by the sensational, record-breaking performance of one man. Leading the charge was the prolific non-league signing Mohamed Eisa, whose 23 league goals, part of a 25-goal haul in all competitions, shattered the club record for goals in a Football League campaign and earned him the EFL League Two Player of the Month award. It was a breakout year built on the electric form of Eisa, marking a memorable chapter in the club’s modern history.
