Notes

The 2017-18 campaign for Leeds United was a season of soaring early promise followed by spectacular disappointment, as The Whites ultimately finished 13th in the Championship. Under new manager Thomas Christiansen, the team roared out of the gates and topped the table for the early months of the season, giving the Elland Road faithful genuine hope of a Premier League return. However, a major loss of form led to Christiansen's mid-season sacking and the arrival of Paul Heckingbottom. Leading the charge with vital goals was forward Kemar Roofe, whose 11 league goals (14 overall) were the standout contribution in a campaign that remains memorable for both its exhilarating start and its turbulent, frustrating descent into a mid-table finish.
