The 2018-19 campaign for Exeter City, the first under new manager Matt Taylor, saw The Grecians push for a play-off spot before ultimately finishing a respectable 9th in League Two. The season was defined by the phenomenal form of striker Jayden Stockley, who netted 16 league goals and topped the scoring charts, but who departed mid-season for Preston North End in January. Despite losing their talisman, a side anchored by the goalscoring exploits of Nicky Law and the emergence of youth products like Archie Collins, managed to consolidate their position in the professional ranks, marking the beginning of the post-Paul Tisdale era at St James Park.
