Notes

The 2018-19 campaign delivered ultimate heartbreak and a devastating end to an era for Ipswich Town as The Tractor Boys finished a crushing 24th in the Championship, resulting in relegation to League One after a 17-season stay in the second tier. The season was defined by a chronic lack of goals and a managerial turmoil that saw Paul Hurst sacked early on before Paul Lambert took the helm. Leading the thin attack were joint top-scorers Freddie Sears and Gwion Edwards, whose 6 goals each were insufficient to stave off the drop. It was a dark, tumultuous year, marked by the club's fewest wins in professional history, and it remains a painful but defining chapter of their modern story.
