Notes

The 2018-19 campaign was a turbulent season of dashed hopes for Las Palmas as Los Amarillos finished 12th in the Segunda División following their relegation from the top flight. The year was defined by early promise, including a stunning 4-0 victory over Gimnàstic, and subsequent managerial turmoil, which saw Manolo Jiménez replaced before Pepe Mel ultimately took the helm. Despite the instability, the club’s returning hero, veteran striker Rubén Castro, proved his enduring class by leading the charge with 15 crucial league goals, finishing as the team's top scorer. This season marked a difficult, transitional chapter for the club as they struggled to secure an immediate return to La Liga.
