The 2018-19 campaign delivered a triumphant League Two championship for Lincoln City as The Imps, led by manager Danny Cowley, surged to their long-awaited promotion to the third tier. This success was built on relentless consistency, securing a club-record 85 points and a spectacular 19-match unbeaten run. Leading the charge was the powerful centre-forward John Akinde, whose 15 league goals proved decisive in a standout year that re-established the club in the national professional ranks and remains a defining chapter in the Imps' modern history.
