Notes

The 2018-19 campaign was a turbulent season of mid-table struggle for Real Zaragoza as Los Maños ultimately finished 15th in the Segunda División, securing survival with more suffering than their strong start promised. Despite a turbulent managerial merry-go-round, veteran forward Álvaro Vázquez led the scoring charge, netting 10 crucial goals, including an unforgettable back-heel golazo against Oviedo. The season, however, is best remembered for the exciting emergence of homegrown talents (canteranos) like Alberto Soro, Carlos Nieto, and Pep Biel, who provided a vital spark and renewed hope, marking a transitional but significant chapter in the club's history.
