Anthony Yeboah, Uwe Bein, and Jay-Jay Okocha were no-shows, leaving Adler having to improvise with his squad to try to appease the Eintracht fans, who had been lured with the prospect of seeing them on the pitch. The match ended 5-4 to Ronaldinho’s team, giving the 20,000 spectators an entertaining game with the proceeds going to children’s charity “RTL - We Help Children”.
