The 2018 New York Jets season was highlighted by the promising debut of rookie quarterback Sam Darnold, who showed flashes of franchise-caliber talent, particularly during a strong three-game winning streak to open the season and a late-season surge. The team featured standout individual performances, most notably from safety Jamal Adams and kicker Jason Myers, both of whom earned Pro Bowl honors for their elite play. Despite a challenging record, the season provided a foundation for the future with a competitive defense and the emergence of young core players.
