Notes

The 2019-20 campaign, under the management of Sabri Lamouchi, was a rollercoaster of soaring ambition for Nottingham Forest as The Reds desperately fought for a return to the top flight. Leading the charge was the prolific Lewis Grabban, whose crucial 20 league goals, the first time a Forest striker had reached this monumental milestone since 2002-03, proved decisive in a season built on grit and consistency that saw them hold a play-off spot for much of the year. It ended in agonizing heartbreak, however, with a dramatic final-day collapse seeing them fall to a crushing 7th place on goal difference, turning a year of immense promise into a painful near-miss that remains a defining chapter in the club’s modern history.
