Notes

The 2019-20 campaign was a turbulent, survival-driven season for Mansfield Town, with The Stags ultimately finishing a perilous 21st in League Two after the season was curtailed and the final position was decided on a points-per-game basis. Despite the mid-season managerial upheaval, which saw John Dempster replaced by Graham Coughlan, the team's top-scorer, veteran striker Nicky Maynard, delivered a crucial 14 league goals to anchor the attack. The season was built on a desperate fight to avoid the drop, marking a tense and unforgettable chapter that saw the club cling to its Football League status.. The 2020-21 campaign delivered a season of mid-table consolidation and significant managerial change for Mansfield Town as The Stags finished 16th in League Two. The year was defined by the early-season struggle under Graham Coughlan before the appointment of Nigel Clough in November sparked a crucial revival, steering the club firmly away from the relegation zone. Leading the charge with 10 goals was the prolific forward Jordan Bowery, whose contributions were vital in a campaign built on the resilience that secured their place in the professional ranks. It was a foundational year that laid the groundwork for the club's subsequent push for promotion under Clough.
