The 2020-21 campaign was a season of soaring early ambition and eventual consolidation for Bayer Leverkusen as Die Werkself finished 6th in the Bundesliga, securing a coveted spot in the Europa League. The season was characterized by an impressive 13-game unbeaten run that saw them briefly top the table for the first time since 2014.
