Notes

The 2020-21 campaign delivered a crucial season of evolution and consolidation for Brighton & Hove Albion as The Seagulls secured their Premier League status with a 16th-place finish. Under the guidance of manager Graham Potter, the side equaled their highest ever Premier League points tally (41) while setting new club records for goals scored (40) and goal difference (-6). Leading the line was the clinical Neal Maupay, whose 8 goals were essential in a campaign built on improved underlying metrics, notably a new, possession-based style. It was a steadying year that confirmed Brighton's place in the top flight for a fourth consecutive season, marking a successful step in the club's modern development.
