The 2020-21 campaign was a season of two halves and a dramatic resurgence for Cardiff City. The Bluebirds, under the veteran guidance of Mick McCarthy, mounted an incredible charge in the second half of the season, climbing from 15th place to a final 8th-place finish following an 11-game unbeaten run. Leading the attack and breaking a club milestone was Welsh international Kieffer Moore, whose sensational haul of 20 league goals earned him the Player of the Season award, becoming the first Bluebird to hit that mark since Peter Whittingham in 2009/10. It was a defiant year played without supporters, but one which marked a dramatic turnaround and cemented Kieffer Moore as a fan-favorite talisman.
