The 2020-21 campaign was a season of soaring ambition and near-miss for Exeter City as The Grecians finished 9th in League Two, agonisingly failing to secure a play-off spot on the final day. Leading the charge was the homegrown hero Matt Jay, whose phenomenal 18 league goals, including his first career hat-trick and a League Two Player of the Month award, anchored the team's attack.
