Notes

The 2020-21 campaign was a tense and turbulent fight for survival for Hertha Berlin, with Die Alte Dame ultimately securing their top-flight status with a 14th-place finish in the Bundesliga. The season was defined by mid-season inconsistency and a crucial managerial change that saw fan-favorite Pál Dárdai return to spark a spirited, late-season run to escape the relegation zone. Leading the charge for goals were the strike partnership of Jhon Córdoba and Krzysztof Piątek, each notching 7 goals, alongside the young, brilliant Matheus Cunha. It was a pivotal year that saw the arrival of veteran star Sami Khedira to anchor the young squad and marked a dramatic, successful battle to remain in the German elite.
