Away shirt released ahead of the 2020 Olympics as Japan hosted. As Japan competed in the Olympics, they won their group but were eventually beat by Spain in extra time of the semi-finals. Japan would miss out on the bronze medal to Mexico as they were defeated 3-1 in the bronze medal match.
