Notes

The 2021-22 season was one to remember for fans of UD Almeria, as the club triumphantly returned to LaLiga under manager Rubi's stewardship. Far from being clear cut, the season ended on a knife's edge, as Los Indalicos pipped title rivals Vallodolid to the crown on goal difference, narrowly fending of EIbar in 3rd by 1 singular point. Nigerian forward Umar Sadiq led the scoring charts with a healthy 18 league goals, as the side made it as far as the round of 32 in the Copa Del Rey, eventually being knocked out by LaLiga side Elche.
