The 2021-22 campaign was a turbulent season of transition and a dramatic fight for Juventus as The Old Lady ultimately secured a crucial 4th-place finish in Serie A under the returning Massimiliano Allegri, ensuring a spot in the Champions League. Leading the charge in his final, emotional season was the fan-favorite Paulo Dybala, whose 15 goals across all competitions (10 in the league) anchored the attack, bolstered by the sensational mid-season signing of striker Dušan Vlahović. Despite the domestic effort and a Champions League run to the Round of 16, the season was sadly defined by a double cup disappointment, as Juventus finished as runners-up in both the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana, losing both finals to bitter rivals Inter.
