Notes
The 2021-22 campaign delivered a tense, dramatic survival for Sparta Rotterdam as the Kasteelheren ultimately secured a crucial 14th-place finish in the Eredivisie. Leading the charge were joint top-scorers Vito van Crooy and Lennart Thy, whose 5 goals apiece proved decisive in a campaign built on sheer grit and a crucial late-season run to escape the drop. It was a nervous year that marked the club's hard-fought victory to maintain their top-flight status and remains a defining chapter in their recent history.
