Notes

The 2022-23 campaign delivered a powerful return to form for Atalanta, with La Dea clinching a strong 5th-place finish in Serie A under the enduring tactical genius of manager Gian Piero Gasperini. This crucial finish secured a coveted spot in the UEFA Europa League, successfully ending the club's brief absence from European football following a necessary squad rebuild. Spearheading the revamped attack was the phenomenal new signing Ademola Lookman, whose 13 league goals proved vital, including a decisive strike on his debut. Key moments that defined the year were an impressive 10-match unbeaten start and a spectacular 8-2 demolition of Salernitana. It was a pivotal year of transition and renewed ambition that re-established La Dea among the Italian elite.
