Notes

The 2022-23 campaign for Borussia Mönchengladbach was a season of transition and mixed fortunes, culminating in a mid-table 10th-place finish in the Bundesliga. The team's attack was electric when focused, spearheaded by the French forward Marcus Thuram, whose 13 league goals provided the crucial cutting edge. It was a year under manager Daniel Farke that struggled for consistency, ending with a Round of 32 exit in the DFB-Pokal, and remains a defining chapter as the club said farewell to talismanic players and sought to redefine its identity in the top flight.
