Notes

The 2022-23 campaign delivered an exhilarating promotion challenge for Coventry City as the Sky Blues clinched a crucial 5th-place finish in the Championship and soared to the Play-Off Final at Wembley. Spearheading the charge was the sensational Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres, whose 21 league goals were the driving force behind the team's push, which was also defined by the brilliant midfield contributions of two-time Player of the Year Gustavo Hamer. Despite the heartbreak of an eventual penalty shootout defeat to Luton Town, it was a pivotal year that showcased the club's phenomenal resurgence under manager Mark Robins and remains a defining chapter in the Sky Blues' modern history.
