The 2022-23 campaign was a season of European adventure and domestic near-miss for Eintracht Frankfurt as Die Adler finished a respectable 7th in the Bundesliga, which secured qualification for the Europa Conference League. Leading the charge was the sensational newcomer Randal Kolo Muani, whose 15 league goals and prolific overall tally of 23 in all competitions earned him a spot in the Bundesliga Team of the Season. The season was defined by a historic run to the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 in their debut and an emotional run to the DFB-Pokal Final, which ended in heartbreak against RB Leipzig in Oliver Glasner's final match.
