The 2022-23 campaign delivered mid-table consolidation for Hannover 96 as Die Roten secured a 10th-place finish in the 2. Bundesliga, marking their fourth consecutive season in the second tier. Spearheading the attack under new manager Stefan Leitl was striker Cedric Teuchert, whose career-best 14 goals proved crucial in providing the offensive spark.
