Notes

The 2022-23 campaign was a season of turbulent transition for Norwich City as The Canaries struggled to live up to their immediate promotion hopes, ultimately finishing 13th in the Championship. The year was defined by mid-season upheaval, with the club moving on from manager Dean Smith before installing David Wagner in the new year as they looked to consolidate back in the second tier. Amidst the instability, the American forward Josh Sargent was a constant source of optimism, firing in a career-high 13 league goals that saw him top the scoring charts and briefly capture the imagination of the faithful. Though the season fell short of a Play-Off challenge, Sargent's standout individual form and emergence as a new attacking force marked a significant, if frustrating, chapter in the club's modern history.
