Jacket as worn as the team waved goodbye to Goodison Park. The team started flowly, losing their first 4 games. The club departed with head coach Sean Dyche before bringing David Moyes back to the club. The experienced Scotsman steadied the ship and began picking up results in the later half of the season, most notably, scoring a 98th minute equaliser in the final Merseyside Derby at Goodison.
