Special edition shirt as worn by Doncaster Rovers for one game only away to Morecambe on 10 September 2016. Doncaster had the unusual problem of both of their kits clashing with Morecambe's home design so designed this one off shirt in collaboration with the British Heart Foundation. The design sees a healthy heart beat feature prominently across the front as well as the BHF logo to the upper reverse. The shirt celebrated a year long partnership between the club and charity, with celebrations carrying on to the pitch. Donny romped to a 5-1 win in what was an emphatic away performance. The shirts were auctioned off after the game to raise money for the charity. The game also marked club legend James Coppinger's 500th appearance for Donny and he capped it off with the fifth and final goal
