Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Fjælberg for the 1986 World Cup Qualifying UEFA Group 6 match against Denmark, played at Idrætsparken in Copenhagen on 26th September 1984. The Løvene had lost their opening game of the pool to Switzerland 1-0 and looked to bounce back here. A close game between these two Scandinavian rivals finished 1-0 in favour of the Danes with Hellas Verona striker Preben Elkjær's second half rocket proving decisive. Fjælberg played the full match and featured in 5 of Norway's 8 qualifiers as they finished bottom of Group 6 with just 5 points. The defender had earned his first cap back in 1982 and featured 33 times in total for his country often also playing for the Olympic side. At club level he was a one team man spending his entire career with Viking FK.
