Notes - Ultra rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Hateley for the 1995-96 season. This was the striker's first season back in England for over a decade. He joined the Hoops from Glasgow oufit Rangers in the summer of 1995 and made 16 appearances in all competitions as the R's finished a disappointing 19th in the Premiership and dropped down into the First Division. It was a season of few highlights for Hateley and QPR but the striker did find the net in a 3-1 win over Everton at Loftus Road and scored in the narrow 2-1 loss to London rivals Wimbledon. The former Coventry and Portsmouth forward had been playing his football abroad with AC Milan and Monaco before returning to Britain with Scottish giants Rangers in 1990. The 32 time England international was loaned out to Leeds next in the summer of 1996 and later returned north of the border to Rangers in 1997 before having a short spell with Hull City as his career winded down.
