Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Álvarez for the Friendly match against England, played at Wembley on 6th September 1995. This was the first meeting between the sides since a 1-1 draw in the Rous Cup back in 1988. Another close game ended in a 0-0 stalemate here as both sides struggled to break each other down. Álvarez played the full match and won a superb 101 caps in total for Los Cafeteros between 1985-97. The midfielder featured at two World Cup Finals for his country and was somewhat of a jourenyman at club level enjoying spells with the likes of Atlético Nacional, Valladolid, Dallas Burn and New England Revolution.
