After seeing a 1994-95 Manchester United player issue Champions League away shirt sell for through the CFS Vault, the owner recognised the significance of the shirt in their own collection and chose to bring it to auction with us.
This is not a wider collection release. It is one collector's shirt, with a personal history stretching back to Manchester United's Megastore kit room sale. For the first time, the CFS Vault is hosting an auction on behalf of its private owner.
From the kit room to a private collection
Purchased by the current owner directly from Manchester United’s Megastore kit room sale at the end of the 1994-95 season and retained in the same private collection for more than 30 years. Now offered publicly through the CFS Vault for the first time and accompanied by a Classic Football Shirts (CFS) Certificate of Authenticity.
