This design is inspired by the home shirt worn by Scotland at Euro '96, when the Scots were terribly unlucky not to qualify from a difficult Group A, tying on points and goal difference with the Netherlands but missing out on progression to the knockout rounds by virtue of having scored fewer goals in the tournament.
