On June 16, 2006, an 18-year-old Lionel Messi made his World Cup debut against Serbia and Montenegro in Gelsenkirchen. Wearing the iconic navy blue away shirt reissued in this collection.

Messi entered the pitch in the 74th minute, taking him just minutes to make his mark, providing an assist for Hernán Crespo before scoring his first-ever World Cup goal. Becoming the youngest debutant in Argentina World Cup history and the youngest scorer too.
