<h3 class="text-center">Arjan Wijngaard is a Groningen native whose love for football and especially football shirts is evident from his collection. Arjan spoke to Classic Football Shirts about his collection, his favourite shirts he has managed to get his hands on so far, what he is looking to buy and his unlikely love for lower league English clubs!</h3>

<p>My collection contains many different teams from all around the world! The teams that I have the most of are FC Groningen, Everton and Feyernood, these are the teams that I support.</p>
<br>
<p>I have also picked up a number of lower league English team shirts, this is a side of the collection I really enjoy, the more unknown the club is the more fun I find it!</p>

<h4 class="text-uppercase text-left">How Many Shirts Do You Have In Your Collection?</h4>

<p>I have around 2,400 football shirts in total now with over 100 of those being matchworn shirts! The team I have the most of is Groningen with around 150 shirts, I have 80 Everton shirts and 70 from Feyernood too.</p>
<br>
<p>The country I have the most from so far is England, I usually try to get two shirts from each team I add to the collection, the fun for me really is from adding shirts from teams I don't have yet and haven't heard of!</p>

<p>The first shirt I actually added to my collection was the 1993-95 Everton home shirt! It was given to me by a group of Toffees that I met on holiday whilst I was in Spain over 20 years ago! Who would have thought I would still be following the club and collecting their shirts to this day!</p>

<p>I have a few old FC Groningen shirts, notable matchworn and replicas from the early 80s, these are really hard to get hold of which is why I haven't got more!</p>

<p>I'd love to add more shirts and earlier from this era from my favourite club!</p>

<p>I'd love to get my hands on a matchworn FC Groningen shirt from the KVB Cup Final against PEC Zwolle, it's the only major title we have ever won!</p>
<br>
<p>More realistically I'd like to pad out my Groningen collection with a few more matchworn shirts, especially those that were played in by former big name players like Arjen Robben and Virgil van Dijk!</p>
