<h3 class="text-center">We spoke to Andreas Beuler, a 39 year old football shirt collector who lives with his wife and two kids in Braubach about the shirts he has so far and the ones he hopes to add to his more than impressive wardrobe.</h3>

<h4 class="text-left text-uppercase">Why Collect TuS Koblenz shirts?</h4>
<br>
<p>I only live 15 kilometres from Koblenz and have been a long time supporter. I used to play for the TuS Koblenz reserve team, when I began playing Koblenz didn’t have a second team but the fans got together and created one! This was back when Koblenz were a second division team here in Germany, unfortunately this was before I began collecting shirts or I’m sure I’d have way more by now!</p>

<h4 class="text-uppercase text-left">How Many Shirts Do You Have In Your Collection?</h4>

<p>I now have 940 shirts with 213 of these being match issue or match worn Koblenz shirts. As well as these I have a number of other club shirts and for a while I collected international shirts, I began with bigger nations like England, Germany and Spain but then began collecting more niche international shirts and managed to get hold of Bhutan, Timor Leste and South Sudan shirts, these were quite hard to get hold of and are some of my rarer shirts.</p>

<h4 class="text-left text-uppercase">What Was Your First Shirt and When Did You Buy It?</h4>

<p>I’m not sure what my first shirt will have been, when I first started collecting I used to buy lower league English teams from places like eBay.</p>
<br>
<p>The first Koblenz shirt I got my hands was a matchworn Josh Grenier, he was great for us and saw us rise up to the 2. Bundesliga in the mid 00s.</p>

<h4 class="text-uppercase text-left">Which is Your Favourite Shirt and Why Is It So Special to You?</h4>
<br>
<p>I have a few that I think are pretty special, the Koblenz shirts that have KÖNIGSBACHER as the sponsor, this is a brewery in Koblenz and these are considered to be some of our best ever shirts! The rarest of all is the goalkeeper shirt worn during this period that I got from our former keeper 5 years ago.</p>

<p>I also own a match worn Fluminese shirt, this was from a preseason friendly between Koblenz and Fluminese played on the 24th of July, 1991. This was the year that Fluminese finished as champions in Brazil. At the end of the game the shirt was swapped with Koblenz player Robert Brace who gave it to a friend of mine and eventually it made it into my collection!</p>

<h4 class="text-left text-uppercase">What is the shirt you would like most in your collection but don’t have yet?</h4>

<p>I’d really like to branch my collection back to having some pre 1990’s Koblenz shirts, we had some great shirts before the 90s but they are hard to get hold of and I haven’t managed to get any from that far back yet.</p>

<p>Thanks to my collection I have made many friends around the world who I speak to about mine and their collections. I have swapped with collectors and former players from all around the world!</p>
